Quiet Slip-Ons?

Ok...WOW! The lollipops made a huge change....I am thrilled...just took a little frame corner brace and cut it , took a stainless washer, drilled a hole a bolted it all up....this was just a prototype...I will mig meld it tomorrow and spray it black...rode about 100 miles with it today and I am thrilled....next I will try it in the original baffles and if this work I will sell the quiet baffles....whooohoo.

I got a sound meter from the shack - the street cannons with decatted head pipe and stage 1 intake at idle show about 92dB, at 3000rpm it only gets to around 93dB but at 4000rpm it jumps up to 112dB.

I guess there's no way to check the cannons with a stock (cat) header pipe? Would love to know the difference. I will say, I ride closer to 3000rpm than I do at 4000rpm.

I kept the unmodified head pipe and I do plan to reinstall it in a few days to see what the sound is as well as what the temperature is before and at the cat. Going to do the same with the stock slip-ons at the SC's. The temps of a non cat pipe is higher than you'd think.

Yes. The droning is gone...this is with quiet baffles....tomorrow I will see if I can mount the lollipops to the stock baffles...and take a ride.
