I am very happy with the finished product. When I roll on at 2800 RPM's it sounds like a Harley and at lower RPM's it is much quieter than what I had. (Rineharts) I have recommended the pipes to many others. Thank you for all you do
I just installed Jackpots 4" with quiet baffles....they aren't quiet. The droning after a while is making me tired...I am gonna fix them somehow, maybe with a lollipop welded washer on the end....
I'd be interested in what you come up with. I have the standard baffle and I hate the sound. I was wondering about going to the quiet baffle. Have about decided to try the MGS True Duals. A friend packed the MGS mufflers with some good SS packing and is real happy with sound. I started what turned out to be a pretty big thread on here about the MGS True Duals, I've held off buying them because I'm afraid of them being too loud. I don't mind loud around town, but driving all day with loud pipes ain't no fun. A new exhaust will be my forth one counting the stocker.....I'd like to get it right finally.
I like how my bike runs without the CAT and stock mufflers but I would like a slightly deeper / louder muffler. Here are the two companies I have been considering.

OK, i will weld something together today and post it later...
I run the RCX-haust slip ons with my stock header de-catted.
Nice and quiet when cruising - deep throaty idle - louder when wide open but not obnoxious.
The flow good too, my 107" makes 109hp and 118lbs torque with the baffles intact

I have a 09 Ultra with a cat head pipe and SE street performance slip ons, there not much louder than stock. I can travel 2 up 400 mile days with no ear plugs.

I had a set of the Khromewerks 3.5 HP mufflers and really liked them....and so did the folks that road behind me! Had baffle go bad and decided to go a different direction. ( I had true duals and was looking for more low end torque.) Sold the mufflers to a buddy who is really happy with them as well. (I put a new baffle in before I sold them.) I was running the V&H Dresser Duals with the Khromewerks muffs. I really loved the sound. Started looking for more low end torque or I would still be running the true dual with Khromewerks mufflers!

I kept my stock mufflers for this very reason...wanted to make sure it wasn't going to be too loud with a non-cat head pipe. Turns out that it doesn't sound too bad and is fine for touring.
Spot on. OE mufflers are going to get louder over time anyway as the packing settles and gets coated with exhaust soot. My '14 SG sounds just right under acceleration and purrs along in 5th and 6th.
