I had the Harley lowering kit on the bike. I wanted to go up some, so I ordered the monotubes in stock height. I installed one clip and all said and done I would say the front end stands 3/4" higher. I noticed it right away because of the wind shield height.

I would like to resurrect this thread. I Just bought my front progressives standard height for my 13 RG There was no option to get the lowering package for my model for some reason. My bike came to me with after market 11 inch rear shocks, an I added the 1 inch lowering kit. It really improved the cornering, but it rides like a hard tail. Every pothole goes straight to my spine. The front end dipped badly on breaking and felt like it had a volkswagon suspension up front. Very jarring and loose/wobbly plus clunky when on rough roads.mI also had the dreaded wobble once, though it was very mild. I am hoping that installing the progressives will help with all these issues. I am 200 Lbs. I am leaning towards one spacer, due to I want it a bit lower and a lot softer. (the way it is now the front is higher than the rear.) Will this lower the bike? I am thinking the parked stance is fine, it is just when you sit on it, that the bike drops down based on the number of spacers? Anything has got to be an improvement on the factory front end. I might eventually change out the rear shocks. I don't know what brand or model they are, but they are hella stiff, even with the adjustment full loose. Just gonna focus on the front end for now.

im running the monotubes with 2 clips and the bellray oil it says to use in the front end. for lube, using the progressive 944 rear shocks std. springs. im 282 lbs. and i love mine with 2 clips with the rear raised up taking corners is a lot better then just the standard 12in shocks. and the monotubes alone i did 1200 miles after installing them and didn't have a problem with the suspension setup. using the sun downer seat as well. i looked into the legends suspension but i didn't want to spend a huge amount of money. for there monotube kit they sell i test rode a demo bike a dealer had at the dealer one day and told them it needed more work. just my 2 cents for the price the progressive stuff is great for me everyone has there opinions on there stuff. if you don't like it great don't buy anymore of stuff.
