Hi
I know this may sound simple but here goes; I have removed the passenger floorboards on my 09 Road King and want to plug the holes up. Anybody know what size allen bolt cap will do this?
Also what size allen bolt cap for the front brake calipers is needed (heads looking a bit scabby)?
Cheers

I just did this on my 2012 so I'm not sure it's the same but the top 3 are 3/8" and the bottom is 5/16". However, if you are using a cover they all have a 3/8" socket head. I started with 5/16" black plugs I got from Lowe's and they fit perfectly in all of the holes. I felt something was missing so I replaced the top bolt with a 3/8" that's shorter at .75" and a 5/16" bolt, .75" on the bottom. The longer bolts show on the back side and that bothered me. Then I put the Harley bolt covers over the top of them. Left the plugs in the 2nd and 3rd holes. Looks pretty good, but spent way too much time, energy, and money trying to figure out what to put there. Now I need some more 5/16" and 1/4" bolt covers on the rest of the bike to match. I guess it's a sickness. Oh, well. It's fun anyway.
Thanks once again for the replies. UNC & UNF bolts are hard to come by "Over The Pond" unless I go to Harley; how I wish they were metric, plenty of places that I can get stainless bolts.
