baffled with baffles
If you have a 2-1-2 system pulling the baffle out of one muffler and not the other isn't going to hurt anything. The 2 head pipes dump into 1 pipe before splitting out to 2 mufflers. Any change you make to the mufflers has the same effect on both cylinders I've read that if you want to pull one baffle try the left side first. It gets less of the exhaust due to the size and bends in the crossover pipe. If you have true duels then no you shouldn't pull just one side.

I have the stock 2-1-2 on 09 Road King Classic so I will try the left removal tomorrow and see how it sounds. I believe that is what I heard before but wanted to be sure.....thanks
