A few months back my retro radio Sony cdx-gt400, HogTunes setup quick the auto speed sensing, no big deal just noticed it was not working anymore. Last night when I pushed the left thumb button in to adjust bass, mid, treble, etc... it now seeks stations or changes tracks on the cd. I have reset the radio, unplugged the module to make sure contact was good and touched postive battery terminal to negative *unhooked, to reset anything else. Still the same, it has to be a mode it is in that I cannot figure out.
ANY IDEAS ??
Sent email to biketronics last night but realize it is Easter so probably will not hear back from them until Mon or Tues, just looking for advise
Sorry I can't help you with your problem. I have the Biketronics Retro Radio kit and haven't had any problems other than I lost the AVC (automatic volume control) after disconnecting the battery. My problem was solved with an e-mail.

i am waiting on a replacement module from Mike. THey will be opened tuesday. He might trouble hsoot the issue over the phone just to see if its a quick fix. His modules have a lifetime warranty if it need replacement. He only wants the bad module returned. Not too much to ask...a few $ on returned shipping.
No big deal to wait until Tuesday, just seeing if any Fourm help was around about this issue since it is a Holiday. Biketronics has helped once resolving an issue very quickly and I am sure they will on this one.
Spoke with Donna and Mike at Biketronics and they are only about a week behind on orders, so everyone hang in there who have placed orders or phone calls. Mike took the time to troubleshoot my scooter over the phone and all is good now. Lifetime warranty on their modules and outstanding customer service. Great job guys......
My problem accessing the sound menu was a pinched wire under the clutch bracket. It has been a month since I changed the bars and everything has been working fine until now. But all is good.
Mike explained how to access the ASV controls on the bike. Heres how
Press and hold the volume button in and count to 10, when you release the button immediatly push the button up release (1) for stock setting, (2times) for a more aggressive increase or (3 times) for an even more aggressive increase and release, just wait a few seconds before pressing any other controls so it will set itself. You will not see any thing change or hear anything from the system, just gotta try it out. If you press and hold the volume button, count to 10, release and do nothing it sets it to zero (off). A lot of us may have done this sometime not knowing it and now the ASV is inop. Just follow the steps above and it should turn it back on.
I have not tried it yet but will this afternoon to see if it is working. Mike told me that the modules normally go out completely not just one feature at a time.
