Default Bank Angle (tip) Sensor Problems, Anyone else?

Since I got my TriGlide I've had the tip sensor go off way too many times. First time was drifting it out of the garage on a small grade and turning 90 degrees then stopping. Didn't know why it wouldn't start til I saw the odometer said E ip which I figure supposed to say Tip. Have to recycle the ignition several times to make it go away and start again. Since then I've had it go off several times. I mean why the hell would you even want a tip sensor on a trike to begin with. Anyone else have this issue or is mine some sort of anomaly.

Check to see if it came loose or one screw came out. It is next to the battery on the 14's guessing it is in the same place on 16's.

I think something must be awry.

I've been at some pretty significant angles and never had it trigger. It should really only trigger if the Trike were to go on its' side or upside down.

IF I'm not mistaken (and I frequently am) the tip switch or whatever Harley calls it is a safety thing for most fuel injected vehicles. All my Fords have them to turn off the fuel injection pump in case of roll-over. Most times you roll or drop your bike the ignition is on, electric fuel pump is pumping..... or so I am told

You are correct, they also use it on 2 wheels bikes to cancel the turn signals by sensing lean.

Default My bike does the same

I bought my bike 2 years ago and this year. My bike decided the tip center went on and I cannot get it off. I have done everything including buying a new tip censor anyone? Got. Any? Ideas. I've already reset the bike other than replace the bank angler. I've done everything.including changing the filters. My thought is possibly electrical at this point

You will be better off starting your own thread stating all the details of your machine but if you want to continue here all the details are needed to know anything about what you are dealing with.
