Default Ordered my Street Cannons yesterday

I don't need to blow out windows when I drive by but I want to sound a little more menacing than a sewing machine.

Screaming Eagle Street Cannon
Revolver end caps
Clamps

should be here before the end of the week.

Put Street Cannons on my '17 Trike. I like the sound and some of the lack of sound too. I've had the window rattling pipes before. The Street Cannons allow me to be heard, but I can also still hear the radio.

I'm betting you're going to like them. I have them on mine and they are pretty deep, a little louder than stock, but still not loud enough to interfere with the tunes.....

YMMV

I got them. Installed the end caps and then went to remove the old ones and it seems I am going to have to remove the trunk of at least, lift it up, so I can get something on the exhaust mount bolts. To those that have been here before, any suggestions?

First put the trike up on either stands or better car ramps work best for me. With ramps you can pull, jerk, push twist things around without having it fall on ya ! And there is nothing in the way of the exhaust !
If you aren't in a big hurry you can relax under the rear end and take the bolts out with an open end wrench. Loosen one and back it out until it touches the top then loosen the other one until it comes out then finish the first bolt. When going back together just take a little time and start both bolts before you tighten the clamps so you can rotate or move the muffler to the correct position. Once you are done with the mufflers be sure to check the torque on the header bolts at front and rear head. You may have moved something to make things a bit loose.
Don't use a box end wrench except for the final tightening or the loosening, as you can't get the wrench off the bolt once it is out a little.
No need to take the trunk loose every time you do anything under the trike. Some people just like adventure I guess ! LOL ! .

While backing the trike up the ramps, reverse quit working. It's not the breaker. I now get a blinking 'R'. Sometimes a i a bit of a clunk while trying to get it in reverse again.
Any ideas?

The aft bolt is really pinch under the trunk bracket. I went out and bought a set of open box ratchet wrenches. I can get on the front brackets but can get on the rear ones. There is no clearance to get the wrench over the bolt and the wrench is too long to position its open end around the bolt. I would need a box ratchet that opens on its side. Maybe, if I get it on the stands it will look better.

If the open end wrench is long enough, try going in from the rear between the body and muffler. I can get about a 1/6 of a turn at a time but enough to break it loose then use a short wrench from underneath. A real pain to get to.

Sometimes a short wrench helps. Most of the time if you just take a partial turn then flip the wrench over it will give you the full turn of a flat. The box end ratchet will end up captured on the bolt. Then what would you do ? It just takes patients !
I can change the slip-ons in under an hour without removing the trunk. But you need to do it your way. Which ever way is easy for you to do.

I got it but what a nightmare. I mean a nightmare!!!!

It was the initial position of the bolt that was stopping me.

I took my new open box ratchet (actually more like a cam lobe) wrench and cut it off and welded it back at a 90. That made it possible to get the first bite on the bolt. Amazingly, once broken loose, I was able to turn is easy as long as I supported the pipe.

It's all together and I like the sound. Not as much as my V&H street sweeps but a lot better than stock.
These pipes extend past the trunk about 6 inches so I am going to have to be careful backing up against a curb.
