The owners manual clearly states to raise the passenger foot board prior to using the parking brake. Why did they design the brake in such a way that one almost falls off the trike just trying to engage it?

I dont use it, I just leave it in gear. So far my trike has remained where I put it.

Yeah, I was given the song-and-dance that the wheels had to be pulled, adjust each actuator arm so the inner pads barely touch rotors, and adjust hand brake lever. Apparently rear pads don't "auto adjust" with this type setup.

Wondering the differents between tri and layman parking brake design and do they work. They have them to be DOT certified.

I don't know if they have to on a converison. But I wonder how the HD parking brake kit works on a hack set up.
