Default Reverse Relay

I had both side covers off today to adjust the rear shocks and install the smart siren. Does anyone know where the relay is for the reverse motor. Might as well find it now before I really need to.
Thanx,

Right side, where the shock inflater valve is. Never had a problem with reverse or the relay on my 09

As Screwball said, under the right sidecover. If you look, you will see a grey piece of plastic about 1.5 inches long. If you trip the circuit breaker this will pop out at a 90 degree angle the where it sits. To reset, just push it back into place

Hey Bronxbill,

On a different note, how's the Fuel Moto package working for you with the PCV? I'm leaning that way, just not sure of what to use for fuel management. The Cobra FI2000 looks interesting. Over the years I've gotten tired of playing with SERT, TTS, etc.

How close was the map that Jamie set you up with? Pro's & Con's before I spend the big bucks.

Delta,
I'm very happy with the map installed by Fuelmoto in my PCV. Trike runs great and I have no problems. Just be aware that the PCV does require that you disconnect the 02 sensors. The good news with Fuelmoto is that if you make any further changes they will update your map for you for free. I did try using the tuned slip ons as they came from Fuelmoto, but I ended up installing the quiet baffle. My passenger complained about the sound being to loud in the rear with the stock baffle. It sounded fine to me, so you may want to judge for yourself

I'm using the map that came with my PCV, and the trike runs great so far. But Fuelmoto never said anything about disconnecting the 02 sensors.

I too was confused about connect/disconnect of O2 sensors. Had to call the Fuelmoto guys to find out. I was told O2 sensors are installed in the new pipe (for future use like Autotune) but disconnected. If they are connected, this defeats the purpose of the PC V and its map.

Boom beat me to the reply; if you look at the installation directions for the PCV, they tell you not to connect the O2 sensors when installing. The PCV map controls the trikes computer, having feedback from the O2 sensors would confuse the computer

If you want to try a test, unplug the sensors from their respective connectors under the right panel and see how it runs. Just tape over the connector openings so you don't get any crap in the pin holes. Also tie-wrap the cables out of the way. My TG runs better with PC V connected and no O2 sensors.
