For some reason after the dealer did my 5K service it seems that I am getting oil accumulating on the bottom and side of the oil pan area. I wipe it dry, then after a few rides it is back. I dont know if it something they did or I didnt notice it before, but I never had drip marks on the garage floor before.
What could they have possibly done? Oil drain plug is tight.

Well I called the dealer and they think it is residual oil that gets spilt from the oil filter removal. I do remember not having it washed that time. Im going to have the local indy
take a look at it just for good measure.
I noticed "a spot" forming on my garage floor after my last oil change. I completely washed the underside and pressure rinsed - no more drip or spotting. Residual oil was the culprit!
I remember last year I had an Indy do my first fluid change (it was in their shop anyway so I figured why not). I kept noticing oil underneath the oil filter area. At first I’m thinking it was just some left over oil from the old filter. I cleaned the area up and still kept getting oil there. Well now I had enough sense to grab the filter with my hand and see if could be loose. Guess what, the filter twisted right off with very little pressure. I tightened it up and no more leak.
I learned a valuable lesson, do your fluid changes yourself and don’t trust these goof ***** with these simple tasks.
