Hey guys, we are a new sponsor on this site and just thought I'd introduce our new consoles for iphone and droid phones. I got tired of looking at velcro on my dash and almost lost my phone once doing it that way. My wife said, "hey, your an engineer, you can design something really nice for your phone mount". So I did, and a lot of people started asking me if I could make them one too. One thing led to another, patent lawyers, etc, and a few years later they are starting to sell pretty well. A lot of HD dealers are installing them on new bikes, and the word is getting around.
It will fit pretty much any phone, GPS or Sirius radio with a 4.3" display and locks with your Harley key. It includes a rain shield that you can snap in during bad weather. We make them from SOLID BILLET ALUMINUM in the USA. No cheap plastic parts on these, they are solid, and polished to a fine finish prior to chrome plating to match the HD chrome. We can also do black hardcoat anodizing by special order..
Your phone sits in a compartment that has a seal around the lid, and underneath the lid is a die cut rubber part that seals to your phone's faceplate. Underneath the phone is a texture finished laminated foam pad so your phone doesn't get the crap vibrated out of it. The console itself is 3D machined on a 5 axis machining center so it fits your HD tank panel perfectly. We also have a seal around the outside edge of our part where it meets the tank panel. Any HD fuel lid lock will fit our console lid including the push-button styles. There is a lot of info on our web site so check it out, comment here, send us an email, like us on Facebook, whatever, we'd love to hear from you.
THIS IS NOT DESIGNED FOR YOU TO TALK OR TEXT WHILE YOU RIDE!
We added a photo album with some of our customer bikes and ad pics so folks can get a better idea of what the phone mounts look like. They will fit Droid phones, iphones, ipods, and some GPS units.
Your web site shows the model for the Street Glide as $399 but the links to the magazine reviews say its $350. Why are there two different prices listed? Do you offer any forum discount or consider doing a group buy?

Nice looking bike! The Hot Bike magazine link was quite a while ago and we did sell the 100117-001 Cyclone Console that fits the 1996-2007 Ultra, Electra, and Road Glides for $349.95 at the time. That kit is now selling for $369.95 on our web site with a free $30 HD lock.
Since then we have added a few more consoles for the newer bikes which are larger and more expensive to machine and chrome plate. When HD redesigned the consoles they put some curves on top to make them look more sleek. Our new parts are 3D machined in a 5 axis Mori Sieki machining center ot get the curves to match up perfectly with the HD tank strip. We also machine in a groove to accept a rubber o-ring seal all the way around the bottom of our part so it is waterproof and it won't scratch your HD tank strip. The two new models are priced at $399.95 for the kits. We give you the cables, and all the gaskets, screws, phone base pads, etc to get it mounted and looking like it's just a part of the original HD console. Most people look at these and ask us where our part ends and the HD part begins, that's how nice these fit!
On the group buy question: - it seems like a great idea! After the first of the year we will figure out a way to offer that to HDforum customers. If ther are others interested in this please respond to this post.
Also check out the Cyclone Custom Console Tech Article in the newely redesigned Hot Bike issue that hits the newstands in February, (the April issue).

Thanks for the quick response and compliment on my bike, its a work in progress but I guess they all are. I think you might get some good feedback by doing a group buy. Plus having your product out there for people to physically see would probably be the best advertising you can get.
Have you guys decided on a sale price for forum members? I have an 02 electra and would like to buy a console. Or do you still have the $369 price with the free lock?

Yeah, me to, cannot access the link. I am very interested in buying but would like to see on a Street Glide.
A few questions:
1. I have a iPhone 4s which you do support, can I also place a GPS into the console instead of my iPhone when necessary. In other words is this specifically sized for the iPhone or can other similar sized products fit in the holding area.
2. Finally is the unit fully touch screen able once closed up into the console?
3. Is the console fully waterproof or just resistant?
