First time with a Harley. I picked up a 1983 FXWG from a friend who was hurt in an industrial accident in 1996. The bike has been sitting un-assembled since then. The transmission is a 1991 5-speed and the engine build has less than 1k miles.
Some details:
Converted to 5-speed (1991 factory transmission)
S&S flywheel, rods & pistons (stroker) Custom heads.
Phase III primary with 1.5", 78 tooth belt.
S&S Super B Series carb with surge pump bowl conversion
8" extended forks. Rear shock mounts moved back to lower.
The tins have been powder coated with clear coat. I hope to have the frame done next week.
