Hello from Denton TX

First time Harley owner but third motorcycle. Started riding in my early 30s on a Honda shadow aero 750. Had that one a couple years until a lady on her cell phone coming the other direction decided to turn left without yielding. One totalled bike, separated shoulder, and a broken ankle later, I ended up getting my next bike, a Yamaha roadstar 1700. This one lasted a good decade and served me very well. Unfortunately, the miles were starting to add up and some nagging issues like a slow battery drain were making things a little less enjoyable.

cue a week ago. My dad, a proud owner of a heritage softail 114 Milwaukee 8, had to take his bike in for service and needed a ride home. I volunteered and decided, hey, while I’m here i might as well take a look see.

well when my eyes spotted the Electra glide, I was done for. It’s a gently used 2013 ultra limited with 7800 miles. I didn’t even know a bike could be 6 years old without cracking 20k miles lol. Took her home the same day and I’ve been loving this bike ever since. Liking forward to learning a thing or two from the community.
