Found this page a while ago, got a bunch of info of it and getting very close to getting back on 2 wheels so figured I'd make an account as I'm probably coming back here frequently..
I'm Marcel, 45, originally from Holland, came to the States 5yrs ago now residing in Lakehills TX since 2020.
I've been driving crotch rockets on the street and track for almost 25yrs before I moved to the US and since we've (my wife and I) finally found our place here in the Texas hill country, I want to get back on 2 wheels.
Since I'm "old and fat" now I'm leaving the racers, kneedowns and full leathers in my past and looking forward to buying my 1st Harley.
Gotta get my license again, appointment is for beginning of March and will get a bike immediately after..
Looking at candidates, I loved the Sportsglide when I was scrolling through the web but did not like it very much IRL so I'm now looking into Fatboy's, our local dealership has a nice '19 sitting there with low miles, Screaming eagle kit and V&H exhaust which caught my eye. Hopefully I can pull the trigger soon and show some pics of my 1st bike ride in our beautiful Texas Hill Country.
See you on the webs or on the road, keep the rubber side down..!
