Just thought I'd take a minute and say hello. I haven't rode for 20 years back then it was honda cb 750"s . Always wanted a harley finally picked one up last May , a 98 fxdl. I've been reading and watching allot of YouTube to learn how to service and do all the maintenance on it. I keep ending up in the forums, finally got around to registering. Recently just picked up another project early 2000 period chopper it has allot of choppers.inc parts couldn't pass it up. Hopefully will get to know other forum members in the future.
Just in case you have not done this and I recommend this only as a suggestion....
Add a Signature Line in your USER set up for your bike year, model, and all the letters that Harley recognizes it with. Others will see it at the bottom which enables them to know your exact model if you ever ask a question. All Harleys are not the same and year and all the model letters make a big difference.
Also, add an Avatar of your favorite shot in the USER setup for the small picture others will see in the top left corner of your post.
It's also very helpful to read the 'HDF Site Rules' listed at the top of the new member Welcome area.
