softail faring

Little help please. I have a 09 FLSTN that I want to put a fairing on. I have over 30k on the bike and the windshield is just not enough. I have been told by local dealer that HD made SE model that came with a factory fairing. That the FL model would fit my bike. The FX would not. Checking with the company service people they not so. HD never made a softail with a fairing. However, there is on Ebay a fairing that the seller says is factory softail that will fit my bike. I don't want to buy something that I can't use. Any one out there have any info?

I've only seen after market fairing kits for a softail. Not sure where to get one. Good luck
