Default Performance Brakes for FXCWC

I thought the brakes on the Rocker was decent until I rode my sports bike again today.
What a significant difference in braking power!!!

I would definitely like to have better brake pads on the list to make sure that I have sufficient brake performance on my Rocker C.

If anyone knows any pads that are good, I would appreciate your input.
I looked on this thread but could not find anything with performance brake pads.

You can also fit braided pipes, to reduce sponginess and improve feel. There is plenty on pads if you go to the various model forums on HDF.

Well, I know rhe brake lines will definitely get rid of the sponginess. However, I still think there must be one brand that everyone is raving about. I'm gonna reseach more on it on the forum. Thanks!

I recently installed some Galfer sintered pads on my '04 Dyna. They perform pretty well, but they put off way too much dust for my taste. I probably won't use them again.

Wow, i was thinking that the brake dust is not that much of a problem since the wheel is far apart than the car wheels.

When you say too much dust, that is dust that collects on the wheel or other parts of the bike?
Just wanna make this thread a little more informative.

Ceramic is the best way to go, However I think you have to change your rotors. I went with performance machine Calipers simply because of the look. Brembos seem to have the best stopping power but I didn't do research about compatible rotors. There are other rocker bloggers who I am sure have the answer to your question.

It not just the pads that need upgrading. Pads will give you only slightly improved ability.
You will need new floating rotor(s), an aftermarket caliper designed for your bike, and proper pads.
If you have a single front rotor, consider a 13" disc, with a 6 piston caliper.
I use Hawg Halters 6 piston calipers (2) with 11 1/2" Braking floating rotors, with SBS sintered brake pads. This will seriously stop my 700 lb Dyna!!
Others riders swear by Lyndall brake pads, I have not used them, but might try them next time around.
Performance Machine is another high quality system available with 13" rotors and 4/6 piston calipers. Fastrider124

Wow, that caliper looks really nice!
I just have to save up some money for it...

Thanks for the info!
