Default Backrest position 2015 CVO

I really want to like the Backrest on my CVO Limited but it just seems to push me forward a tad too much. I have the rest in the Lowest mounts and loosened the fore and aft screw on the back. I haven't pulled the seat off to see where the factory mounted and if there is room for an adjustment there. Has anyone moved their mounting bracket to accommodate comfort? or does this jeopardize tearing the seat?

Yes the bracket can be moved. If moved to the back of the bike it puts the top more forward. So in your case I would try all all the way forward with would make it almost vertical.

Interesting. I went out and messed with it after this post. It seems that when you back out the Fore and aft adjustment screw you also need to push back on the pad. I backed the screw to flush with the metal bracket and pushed the pad back. It seemed to move it back almost an inch. Anxious to ride it and see if this actually made a difference or just my imagination. Rain for the next couple days so I have to wait.
The backrest is a bitch to get in and out. Not much room to get my hand in there

Pull the seat off there are three or four positions for the mount.

Yes sir I know that. Thanks. I heard this seat creates some difficulty in moving the backrest and was trying to verify

Does the CVO come with the non-adjustable?

Believe it or not, Yes. Has something to do with the redesign of the hammock seat

Wow, unbelievable. I was hoping someone had an idea about how to get more room from the adjustable backrest. Guess I've been watching the wrong thread!
