Is there a way to set my system where when we talk on the intercom that the radio does not mute out? I will also sometimes sing and it cuts out the background music.
Yes but then I would have to hold the PTT button all the time. I want to be able to have the music either through the speakers or helmet and be able to sing along or practice without losing the music. Thanks for the thought.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I've played with the VOX non-stop trying to find a setting where I can listen to my music as loud as I'd like without the mic cutting off the music. When the VOX is too low, it cuts off the first part of every conversation. When it is too high, the music sets off the mic.
I had no idea the Push to talk feature worked for the intercom. For some reason, I thought it was only for the CB (Which I haven't had a use for yet). After reading your post, I went outside and turned the VOX to zero....sure enough, the PTT feature worked just fine. Looks like I finally have an option that will work for me.

Just a reminder. If you have the CB on and you use the PTT switch for the intercom, everything you say will be transmitted over the CB. No problem it the CB is not ON.
