You're new to this whole "forum thing", aren't you? Did you happen to notice the quote on the response you're so keen to rebut?

Seriously, let it go.

I stand by my statement. There's nothing wrong with my reading comprehension.

This was the post:

It very clearly says Shame the H-D website doesn't explain that.

And you respond:

You clearly didn't comprehend that post by RollaMo because the quote he was responding to was IN HIS POST. When the guy says "Shame the H-D website doesn't explain that." there's no way you could actually believe the post you made saying "I think he was referring to the instructional manual" unless you do have a reading comprehension problem.

And as for being civil, I was being civil so calm down, drink a barley pop & chill out.

You mention starting/stopping/starting, etc. Did you also more bike in/out of garage? Screen contrast issue? No sound from speakers?

If you have sound, the issue could possibly be a night mode low contrast issue? Is so, the 3 second hold on the Info button (right turn signal button, press front part of button) may get you a high contrast screen display.

(Hoping this might be it - I've had this happen to me. Thought the screen was black, but night mode got me when bike was moved into direct sunlight.)

Good Luck

No sound. Thought it was maybe a dirty contact in the switch, cycle on and off a few times but nothing changed. Fired the bike up a few minutes later and everything is working normally. Ran some errands with a number of shut downs and starts and it is still working.

why do you think the new update will not let you see the air temp and oil pressure ? why would HD do this ? do you think it's hard on the system not being fully booted up when you go to veiw it on the earlier update ?

I think it is glitch that occurred when they did their update. The update probably caused a conflict with the ability to use/view the temp and oil pressure while the radio is off.

They most likely didn't mean to cause the loss of this basic capability and may not even know that there is an issue.

Hopefully it will be fixed at the next update, until then 1.20.3
