Throttle side grip gap?

Default Throttle side grip gap?
Picked up some new to me Burst grips from a forum member (thanks rcmty!) and got them on this weekend.

Grips look great, but I noticed a small gap on the throttle side between the grip and housing. Did I do something wrong on install or is that normal? I think the stock grips may go more flush due to the rubber...

Yep normal. If it didn't have play you wouldn't be able to roll the throttle. I had the same question when I installed Nostalgic Grips on my '15 FLHR

Looks just like my new Avon grips...


kind of annoying to see an unmatched gap on the other side....

Do you have the stock bars on your bike or have you changed them out. I had the same issue with my Avon grips when I installed Yaffe monkey bars on my 2014 SGS.

Pretty sure its normal....I noticed it on mine after swapping stock grips out for heated grips. Thought the same thing, but I haven't had any issues.
