Default Short Antenna

I am interested in a short antenna to replace the long one on my 2015 RGS.
I've seen some advertised on eBay that are 6,9 or 12 inches long and wonder if anyone has tried any of these and do they work. Would rather not buy on eBay.
Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

Holy crap! This antenna is fantastic!!! I cannot believe how many channels I got with it. On Roll Back pricing too, only 5$. This is the 4th antenna I have tried (stock, HD shorty, JM Fairing and even stock along the frame) and without question beats them all hands down. Great find!

If your just looking to shorten it, cut your stock antenna to the desired length, pull the top off the original piece.

You will need to whittle down the top for the rubber topper to fit. Glue it on and your done. Takes minutes.

Reception isn't any worse or better. Just for looks…

If you have a luggage rack cut it just under so it doesn't interfere with cargo…
