Default 2017 Bag Mounts

I liked the "thumb screw" style on the new 2017 bag mounts. The "one" twist is easier, but there are times you hope they stay locked. I wonder if Harley P & A will have a kit to retro my 2015 FLHTKL?

I think I would only by 2 screws and 2 threaded retainers if I was worried about losing a bag. Having 1 on each side would give you plenty of protection, but not get in the way. I've had these clips since 2003, I now check them regularly because of the recent vendor issue.

Never lost a bag with the old clips.Hate the new screw in's.They protrude too far into bag.You can snag stuff on them as You put things in the bags.

Bolt them on. Nothing protrudes and it takes about 2 minutes to remove them. Also, if you leave your bags unlocked, a would be thief would need a torx bit to remove them.

I bought these. I only put them in the front 2 holes. They provide plenty of support and don't take up any room. I have seen (twice) a bag fall off on the highway and it isn't a pretty site.

One of the features I like on the new 17 fastener is how they keep you from overtightening the screws. I plan on installing on my 14 TK.

I believe that HD will be releasing a kit, and the part number is 90201540. I have not had anyone confirm.
