Side Tone was back with 1.20.2, the short time it was out. I highly doubt that they would take it off again for .3.

You are correct. 1.20.1 added the automatic accept screen off after 15 seconds.

Downloaded 1.20.3 yesterday and there is NO side tone.

Agreed! There is No Side Tone with 1.20.3

I also rebooted/reset the system to see if that might load some part of the 1.20.3 Image that the installation didn't (an unlikely sort of thing, given what an Image File is supposed to be) . . . Anyhow, no such luck. Now waiting on 1.20.4 I suppose . . . .

what is this side tone thing you are talking about ? my radio seems to work fine after installing 1.20.3 update. i'm i missing something here?

On a side note" what's the advantages to downloading the CVO updates on a no CVO unit? I'll notice a few are going tha route, is that for the added amp or just the scean appearance ? Installed new updates last night, haven't had a chance to check for any noticeable changes yet.

Sidetone: When you transmit on the CB you hear your voice through the speakers/headphones.
