I bought the Clearview medium with recurve. It's been fantastic for me so far... I think the big thing is to get the right height and make sure it has the recurve...I went so far as to use a cardboard cutout to make sure the height was correct for ME.
i have the 10" windsplitter.
im 6"-3, and it works very well for me.
i wear an open face lid, no goggles, and can sit at 90 all day in comfort with no eye blast.
I am 6' average build. I have the Freedom Shield 10' with the recurve and it works GREAT. But as has been stated several times, it is all subjective. What works for one want for another. The key points in any shield is the correct height and the recurve feature. My 2cents.
I tried the Windsplitter and found that it did not work for me.
I replaced my stock shield with a shield from Freedom Shields. The quality is outstanding and I liked how I could install it, test ride the shield and return it if I did not like it (as long as I did not remove the protective film). Oh and the cost ($99.00 with 10% forum discount) cannot be beat.
