Couple of modifications I have done, riding position and comfort is excellent all day long,,,,,, Saddlemen Seat, wide Beach Bars , Deluxe bag switch V&H Short Shots
I think the Deluxe bags look way better and the space soooo much more user friendly.

Looks good. Did you get a buy on the Deluxe bags or did you have to piece them together like the Sport Glide bags? I have always wondered why they went clam shell with the Sport Glide Bags.

The Deluxe bags were well below half rrp so I was happy with the cost. They came with the fitting kit for the deluxe and because the frames are the same they bolted straight onto the SG.
Overall very happy with the result, could be a little bigger but they will certainly do....
Ladies and gents....
Future possible SG owner here (soon as I scrape the funds together, of course ). I'm curious what everyone's experience is with the forward controls that come stock on these wonderful-looking bikes. I'm asking because I'm a lifelong forward control rider, and I'm discovering that forwards are not that great for long rides (the wind slowly pushes my feet off sideways, so im constantly readjusting which is ANNOYING). So basically I'm thinking of converting to mids. Which means if I do go to a SG, I'll have to make the conversion. I'm not even sure these bikes are mid-control friendly... do they make a mid-control kit for it? Or would it just be standard HD mid controls and a new inner primary for the shifter shaft hole?

For what it's worth, I had the same problem with my Sport Glide (feet lift at interstate speeds) and corrected by just swapping out the OEM pegs for some Kuryakyn boards. Works pretty good and I'm out on the interstate as part of my daily commute.
