Angry The matter of chatter

I have the same "chatter under the tank" around 2300+ RPM, which disappears approaching 2900+ RPM, also on an M8 but it's a 2018 Deluxe. Mentioned it to the dealer when I had some parts installed recently but they did not address the issue.
At least I know I'm not alone.

Someone mentioned somewhere a long time ago as having a buzzing sound that he could not locate till he tightened his lamp rings. Might worth the effort to check all screws to make sure every thing is tight.

I know my Heitage has an engine whine that I can hear when I ride with my hearing aids in.. So, most often I take them out (equal to using ear plugs) so the whine dosen't bother me.

Awesome. Thanks for your feedback.

Question. I took the passenger pillion off to have a solo look and there was a clear plastic on the fender where the pillion was. I assume this was to keep the seat from scratching the paint? Did you guys leave this on or did you remove it and how. Maybe a hair dryer to loosen it up?

So, long time follower. I've read all 1000+ posts. One question I haven't seen addressed: why is the max size on the rear wheel 18x4.25 when other softails accept wider? Is it the fender?
Oh yeah, I have a 2018 FLHCS I got from an Indy shop for cheap. So F the W word, I'm about to F this S up... 😈🤘 (FYI didn't read any forum rules on profanity so I'm avoiding any liberal sensitive butthurt that may be lurking...

I left mine on and bought a fender bib from captain itch

I have no financial interest; he makes quality products at a fair pice.
