Was that a simple programing thing or did they have to do any rewiring?
I feel this should be standard...in my mind it is a safety issue for seeing or being seen!!
Programing only, it’s illegal in many states to have factory Fog or aux lights come on with high beams and some dealers won’t do the programming. Cars work the same for same reason. After watching the rundown on the new adaptive headlight I want one, can’t wait for it to be released for the 18’s
Hey everyone, been reading this thread for a couple months now. It helped me decide this bike was the one I wanted! Loving it so far. Only bought a couple of upgrades, all cosmetic. A passenger backrest and the wind deflectors. Got my 1000 mile service done and now have around 1800 miles on the bike. My question for you guys is if your oil was ever low between services. The dipstick is only maybe a 1/4 from the bottom when hot. I talked to harley and their response was basically "dont sweat it, its under warranty. We usually keep the oil level low when we do our services" Im not the most mechanical guy around but that seemed like a vague halfway answer. I guess Im nervous to add oil with possible sumping issues. Anyone else eating oil?

Screamin' Eagle Pro Street Tuner
Gunny,
Im between the V&H, Rinehardt, and Tab slip ons. Have you done any long rides and regret the noise? Did you have to install Screamin Eagle Pro Street Tuner to stay in warranty?
Thanks

Looks like new Harley passenger floorboards will cost 500 bucks. Sometimes I feel I should have just bought Road King. Not sure what was my reason for not buying Road King.
Floorboards are well over priced. I went with the Heritage because its lighter and more fun in the twistys. I dont always ride two up. At the same time, its well built for the longer rides. Gotta remind myself some days.

If it is a 107 a stage I SE Ventilator and and Street tune IMHO is needed. Bumps up the Idle RPM and eliminated the slight throttle hesitation that I was experiencing with the stock tune.
Went with Rinharts after the tune as a tune is not needed with just slip ons. I like the sound and it is improving with miles. Not too loud when starting or moving at low speeds, can make plenty of sound with a heavy throttle and very comfortable at cruising speeds.

Hope that helps!
I like the new bagger guards!!
I ended up buying the Kuryakyn mini's. My wife really likes them, they look nice, and were only $130.
Can you give me a link to or a part number for the mini's?
Hey Frank,
Here were the parts I ordered direct from Kuryakyn.
Splined Passenger Peg Adapter for '18 Softail, Chrome Item #8923 $27.99
KineticTM Mini Boards without Adapters, Chrome Item #7611 $101.99
You can order in Black or Chrome.
I think they look nice. They use the existing spring and ball to keep them locked up/down and they aren't so large to cover up the Derby cover. And wife is really happy with them.
