V&H slip ons were my first choice but after some research on the sound, I went with Rineharts. The sound is excellent, a deep rumble loud enough to hear well but not obnoxious. I'm currently replacing them with 2:1 D&D Fat Cats only because I just hate all the chrome! I'll be listing the Rinehart slip ons in Classifieds soon.
Thanks Stinker Bill, that was really helpful. I had HD slipons on my FB and it was not loud enough (previous bike had hardkromes LOL)
DeeRides - HDealer was pushing Rineharts when I was purchasing bike, same deal no addl mods unless you want improved performance (ie wont pop etc.) Are yours chrome or black?

They are chrome, black wasn't available when I bought them a few months ago. If they were black I'd be keeping them....I do love the sound!
Got 4500 on mine and love it except not crazy anout it 2-up. There is a loud belt whine when decelerating that only happens when riding with the wife. The dealership told me others are complaining and they think the frame is bending under load and overtightening the belt. Otherwise, it rides almost effortlessly ... no handlebar pressure needed to turn and it is light enough to kick around into s parking spot. Only other issue is the $600 Tour-pak. It is very cheaply built and already showing signs of wear after 3 months. It also rattles in the quik-disconnect slots.

Congrats....107 or 114?
My 107 needed a Stage 1 SE ventilator upgrade and a tune to make it run better and for better throttle responce. At idle it originally sounded like it was going to stall and there was a hesitation in throttle responce when rolling on from a stop. The stage I fixed all that rasing the idle about 100 RPM.
I also added Rineharts with the black tips after doing the tune. Great sound, no additional mods needed.
I have also found that as I put on the miles the sound is really improving....more throaty rumble and less rap.
Yes love my 114 the power, the handling . Solo great but 2 up loud belt sound when slowing down. Dealer replaced rear wheel bearings did not help, they have no clue. At least now others are complaining but if it is frame flexing what now ? That would take a major fix and when this noise is present is it doing bearing damage ? And yes the H-D tour pack is very cheaply made and should not over 200.00 dollars.
