I was looking for something a little more custom looking that followed the lines of the frame better and I also wanted a detachable backrest for the rider for longer rides. This Salman qualifications. I especially like the diamond stitching, for that retro look. And settlement has a good rap. I've spent all day on it and being comfortable. If it's great and I think it looks good as well.
But, JFYI I found the stock windshield did little, if nothing, to reduce buffeting. I might even say for me it seemd to make it worse. I first added famgs and that helped some. Then I replaced my stock shield with a Fredom Recurve (15" because I'm short) and have nearly no bothersome buffeting at all.
Man is that a loaded question. Almost as bad as asking about motor oil. Stock windshield is terrible. Cut it down, throw it away or run it bare.........

I just installed a 21" Freedom shield when combined with the fangs dramatically improved the buffeting. I'm 6' 1" and it's just right to look over. I went with the smoked screen with the bottom blacked out just like stock.
Yeah, I absolutely needed the fangs. At a hundred kilometers per hour my head was bobbling and at a hundred and twenty I could barely see. I'm six foot one, and the fangs have pretty much taken care of it for me. not sure I really need to change the stock windshield, and I do sometimes will run without.

Did it come with the bottom blacked out, or did you have to do that yourself?
