How did you get the backrest on the stock saddle? Dealer tells me it can't be done! Thx.
That is a Mustang Seat with a Back rest.
If yoiu just want to add a backrest to a stock seat get a Grasshopper. Bracket attaches to the two bolts at the back of the seat. The backrest then easily slips in or out of the bracket. Works great.
Anyone interested in pipes who is not looking for anything crazy loud should check out the new Cobra Neighbor Haters slip one. Dont let the name fool you, they have a great deep rumble that is not obnoxious. Ive heard them in person and rode a bike with them on and I thought they sounded about perfect for me.
This video is not the same bike but its a decent example of what they sounded like in person.
No cats so the usual disclaimers apply. $320. Not bad.
I went with Vance & Hines slash cuts with the quiet baffles and am quite happy. At idle and low rpm through town, just a little deeper sound, but when you let 'er rip it sounds great.

Perfect, thanks! I couldn't find anything. I'll Google it.
Well Frank, took her to the dealer about my '18 FLHC and the left side bag letting water in. The service writer was like "the bags are rain proof, not washing proof". But Harley calls these things "water proof", so water should not be allowed in the bag, at all ! My '16 Heritage bags were not water proof, but I never had water inside them ! So the Service writer agrees to write a warranty ticket, although he doesn't have much hope anything will be done. So much for H-D water proof claims.
I wash my bike and have ridden it in near-monsoon rainstorms and never a drop of water in the bags.

here is a suggestion: as we all know water sits in the recess for the lock, make sure the locking ring (nut) is tight on the inside of the lock, i had a bag leak after the lock was replaced at the dealer and it turned out that the locking ring (nut) wasn't tight.
