That's not a Fat Bob with a painted tank, that's a QianJiang-built, QJMotor-branded SRV 550 ST. It's a 550cc cruiser made in China. But, look at the tail section, the shape of the seat, even the color of the exhaust -- it's pretty obvious where they got their "inspiration".
It's even Belt drive!
But they may not actually be thieving bastards after all; QianJiang is the company that Harley has formed a joint venture with, to produce the forthcoming X350 and X500 bikes. So maybe Harley approved of this design appropriation by their partner, who knows?
The engine section looks more like something copped from the V-Max, but the rest of it -- ... um ... I kinda like the copper bike a lot more than I should.
Set to go on sale in Europe next year, for $6,900.
If Harley sold that thing here, for $7,000 or less, I'd probably buy it as a stablemate. That'd never happen, of course. But -- actually, that X500 Harley is making is basically the same bike, other than the tins and the belt, so... they theoretically might could bring it here.
