Picked up a pair of TBR slip-ons second hand with about 1,000 miles. Couldnt be happier with the look and sound. Much louder than I was expecting, nice deep growl. It was tough to find any videos that do these justice.
Hello fellow Fat Bobbers, Im looking to do some overnight camping locally and want to add a sissy bar with luggage rack. Done some searching but its pretty hard to find a good solution for my 2018 Fat Bob. Looked at the HD Fasthold system but hoping there are better options available that Im missing in my searches. Would appreciate any Links to any recommendations. Thanks for your help!
I used the HD quick detach system with attached short sissy bar to carry two large bags on a 3 week tour. One on the sissy bar / back rack and one Rok strapped to the seat. Was strong and stable and no problems. Didn't affect riding position.
Outstanding blacked out Bob!! Sangre De Cristo Mountains and that unmistakable NM sunset are a good compliment too -nice pics (looks like the bridge on the way to Taos that's seen in terminator salvation!
Thank you! Yes it's always quite a sight and I never get tired of seeing the sunsets and sunrises here in NM. And you're correct. It's the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge just West of Taos.

I've got the Harley HoldFast "tall" sissy bar and rack (I say "tall" even though it's very short, it's just not as short as the "short" bar they offer). I loaded the bike up with a 50-liter rolling touring bag, spare gas can, full set of camping gear/tent/sleeping bag etc, and rode it through 14 states. The rack was perfectly capable.

I have been trying to find a picture of a Fat Bob with Flying Tigers gas tank. Does anyone remember the post & could share it with me? I've been searching & not having any luck finding it. I would like to have my tank painted next winter.
This is the design on a sportster tank.

wow that’s a great setup! Thanks for including a pic! Who makes your windshield? Is it a quick release? Also, did you buy the back rest?

Yes, that's the Harley 19".
Also, did you buy the back rest?
Which backrest -- the one for the sissy bar? Or the one that clips on to the front of the luggage? Well, the answer to both is yes, so I guess it doesn't matter... the sissy bar backrest is for when carrying a passenger, and it works okay, but the sissy bar is a lot shorter than my wife would prefer. The clip-on backrest for the luggage seems like it would be okay but frankly I never use it because it gets a little cramped in there. The luggage is just about exactly far enough away to not get in my way, but barely; adding the clip-on backrest actually makes it too cramped.
Suggestions!! I need to get my bars closer to me so my arms aren't locked out and I'm not leaning forward as much. (short as f*#k.... lol) I don't really need them to be higher; just clsoer.
Anyone know of risers that fit our bars that will pullback? Or any suggestions on bars that will fit and accomplish the same thing. If changing bars I'd really like to try and stay with the look of ours somewhat.
I did search but everything I seen dealt with raising the bars as the priority....... not pullback.
Thanks!!
