For me it's the difference in the upper RPM'S that is most noticeable. Feels like an improvement all around though!

Well I took your advice and took a bit of a longer ride and I must say, my initial thoughts were not very accurate. It rips it and I guess I was more worried about the install job I did and when the lifters were gonna quiet down.

I actually ripped on it this time and it pulls hard all the way to redline and does so in a hurry! Can't wait to actually go on a nice long ride to continue to enjoy. Will do so Thursday or Friday evening after work.

Disregard what I said earlier. There's quite a bit of difference with this cam over the stock cam. I'm a happy camper that's for sure. Also forgot to mention the exhaust note is quite a bit of different as well. Sounds deeper and louder now so that's a good bonus.

Cool, I went through the same changes.
A 128 is still a nice easy next step project though.

Need an upgraded transmission with that one. Too many broken stock transmissions with torque over 130.

I wonder if that's a case of hitting third gear hard on a heavy bike, driving style.

I've considered it but I always think back to my 2012 Sportster 48. I had it bumped up to an 88" and had nothing but issues with it. It was in the shop more than I rode it.

Makes me nervous to do the 128" for fear of the same thing happening. Who knows, the cam swap may be all I end up needing/wanting. Time will tell.

I’ve been running an FP3 map with auto tune for a couple tanks now and today when I parked it I noticed a little bit of brown substance coming from my air cleaner. It’s not oil, well perhaps not engine oil anyway... is it normal for a newer k&n filter to drip a little of the priming oil on a hot day/ hot ride?
Seems to be running fine and all sensor data looks great.

I've had it drip in the past when I over oiled it.

Smile Mini apes on a fat bob

Anyone installed mini apes on an 18 fat bob? Im looking at KST Kustoms renegades, either 10 or 12 inches, wanted to see how much of a pain it will be to do it myself
