The plate relocation kit is from Blackmill. He is a sponsor here.
Yeah, I know who makes it. I was just curious how it looks up close where it mounts. I wanted to see how finished it looked before spending that much $.
[QUOTE=realsteel;17446640]Hi All,
Just got our New fatbob back on the road after getting a custom lowered shock made to lower it 1" 1/2 and dropped the forks though an extra 1/2". Its for the wife who is only 5 foot 2. Now has a softer spring and uses same preload adjuster. Also fitted a tail tidy, removed the cats from headers and drilled the street cannons out. We fitted a Power vision from Fuel Moto as well. Have a Question regarding auto tune. How many tunes and how long for each to get it nearly right before I send back to Fuel Moto? Anyway heres a couple of pics so far.
Any helpful info for removing the cats? Did you gut them or put in test pipes

It's completely powder coated, and even includes a notch out for the Custom Dynamics LED plate. The only thing that's kind of odd, is the furniture pads used as a cushion between the bracket and your fender. Simple, but it works. +1 on it being a finished piece. I made my own bracket out of some Simpson Ties and a bicycle tube, for significantly less money - but it bounced too much for my liking. So I just ended up buying the Blackmill kit.
Yeah - it is a nice piece of kit. Kind of expensive for a bit of bent and powder coated metal, but it does the job perfectly and Eric includes hardware for pretty much all possible fitment options.
I would say the new ones are slightly better as they fit sandwiched between the fender and the....well what the hell do you call the inner fender mounting plates. Maybe that? The older ones sat on the inside of the IFMPs and secured with a locknut. Solid though....
I saw a Harley orange 107 Fat Bob at the Nashville HD dealer today. I didnt know they came in that color.
modular: Would you take a picture or three of your license plate holder so I can see how it attaches and stuff? Im curious how finished it looks from various angles. Thanks!
I don't think that's a stock color if it was I would've bought that take a picture next time you're out thanks brother😎
