I bought the mustang seat and pillion. It's really comfy and looks pretty decent on the bike. The great thing is you can take the passenger seat off and it looks like a bobber saddle. Really comfortable pillion. Passengers have loved it. With the sissy bar, there's so much more room, passengers can lean back which gives you so much more space. I've loved it so far and feel it is well worth the cash.
Can we bug you for some pics of it on the bike, especially in solo mode?
I am 90% decided on the Mustang, just pausing because Ultimate is supposed to have theirs out this month.
Big question: how is the vibration transmitted through the seat at 3000-3500 rpm? I found it annoying on the stock seat, and hugely improved by the Sundowner. I am hoping the Mustang will be effectively a solo Sundowner in terms of comfort and vibration reduction.
Question for those running a Fuel Moto tuned Power Vision on a FB 114 with just slip on's.........was the pre-loaded tune that FM installed into the PV named "stock improved"?
Yes Loaded the Tune and have done 4 or so Auto tunes. Running strong just wondering if there would be anything to adjust
Was the tune named "stock improved"? Mine is and it is not right for the 114 with S&S slip on's. DynoJet has an actual tune just for that. I uploaded it into the new PV from Fuel Moto and compared the two tunes in WinPV. Not similar at all. Additionally, when I had the FM Stock Improved tune loaded into the bike I was locked out of Auto Tune and Quick Tune and the bike did not run any better than it did with the canned Stage 1 SEPST tune. I now have the DynoJet "Stock Hi-Flow Intake/S&S Slip On's" tune loaded in the bike and will ride it today. Low and behold I also have access to Auto and Quick Tune.
Bike got it's 1000 mile service about 200 miles ago. I had the tech drop the oil level about 5 dots from the full line on the dips stick. Had no more oil draining out of the air cleaner for that first 200 miles or so afterwards. Well oil is back to dripping out of the air cleaner again. Not sure what the cause may be now that I eliminated the oil level theory. Any suggestions on what to check now?
It is super frustrating to have oil coming out of the air cleaner on my new bike. It also seems that I'm the first and only one on here experiencing this issue so I want to bring this issue to light and post the findings in case anyone else needs suggestions on what to look for with this issue on the new M8's.
Needless to say the stock improved tune FM loaded into the PV was not right. After loading in and running the DJ stock hi-flow intake with S&S slip on's tune the difference was blatantly obvious. Did one Auto Tune session and uploaded that. I'll ride it again in the morning on the way to work to see if that changed anything much. There is more than a seat of the pants difference.

My first, and only thought that comes to mind, for oil coming out of the air cleaner, are breathers gone bad. Or rather, defective from the start. Or incorrectly installed. Oil level on the M8 is right around 4.5 quarts. Get that bugger in for warranty work. That's what it's for.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just called and will be taking it in on Thursday next week. I hope this isn't an ongoing issue.
I saw a Harley orange 107 Fat Bob at the Nashville HD dealer today. I didnt know they came in that color.
modular: Would you take a picture or three of your license plate holder so I can see how it attaches and stuff? Im curious how finished it looks from various angles. Thanks!

The plate relocation kit is from Blackmill. He is a sponsor here.
I compared the Fuel Moto "stock enhanced" tune and the DynoJet "stock intake/S&S Slip on's" tune in WinPV. Quite a difference. I'll be installing the DynoJet tune to see how it helps. I have a feeling FM may have made a mistake with my PV before shipment.
Just Downloaded the Dyno jet tune and did compare to Fuel Moto on Laptop bit of a difference here and there going to flash Dyno to bike do some Auto tuning and see difference out of interest might be a few days but good exercise
