I had to loosen them enough to fit the new spline in , As the new one is longer,,

Original M8 Softail ramps are 19 degrees.
Thanks. Yes I saw that posted on another thread. I registered the problem with my dealer and we are "monitoring" it... Don't want to highjack this topic. I think the answer to my question is the lower bracket needs loosening, so there's play in there to have enough room to slide the new, longer spline in.
