Im not a huge fan of the adjustable pushrods either, but its not worth opening up the cylinders for a pushrod, Id stick adjustable pushrods in, and if you ever need to open the cylinder heads swap them back to the original rods then
In terms of the lifters, you dont have to change them, but it would be smart to do so as supposedly aftermarket ones wont glaze like the stock lifters
