I did the update(s) a few days ago, but wasn't able to run the bike until today. I purposefully did a number of shut down/restarts to see if the bluetooth/CarPlay connection was any more stable. With such a small sample size it's hard to be definitive, but I had zero issues with it reconnecting. The system as a whole might boot up a touch quicker than before, but I've never bothered to time it so I can't give anything other than my feeling on it. What is very noticeable (to me, at least) is the volume out of the radio. For the first time since I've owned this bike, the speed based audio adjustment has value. At full volume, I can hear the radio very well into triple digits. For most of my ride, I had the volume at roughly 25% and was able to listed easily to everything I was playing. Now that the system has decent volume, the volume increase with speed works as it should.
The rest of the stuff the updates address I've never had any problems with. The ability to zoom in/out with the left hand control is nice when using the factory nav system, but I didn't have the nav installed very long before winter and didn't use it much before this change.
Okay guys! I got it!! I had to reformat my USB for the 10th time disabling the quick format option.
I want back in and downloaded and extracted the USB2 from the previous update as disbribed by the TroubleShooting section of the instructions.
After installing USB2 from the previous update, I went back to USB2 of the current update. SUCCESS!
Before I installed the USB2 from the previous update, I had TWO different numbers in the Skyline OS Version (2213D) and the Software Version (2237D). After completing the previous update both of those numbers were showing 2237D! This was when I had my AhHA! Moment!
Then I started from scratch for the current update. I went straying to step 10 (USB2) like the instructions say. And now I am all updated to the current version. And BOTH the Software Version and the Skyline OS Version are the same number! SUCCESS!!
Thanks to everyone here for this thread! It was great! Now I just have to pray for warmer weather!!
My update worked fine.
I believe the stock radio volume is noticeably louder, hard to tell in the garage. Ill ride tomorrow and see if it makes a difference.
I haven't road tested this yet, but in my garage there's no doubt that the speaker volume is much louder than before.
On the road, I notice a SLIGHT difference in volume. Previously, I could tell the radio was on, though couldn’t make out the song, at 55 mph. That’s now increased to 65mph.
I’ve also noticed that my heated grips now take twice as long to heat up. It went from 10 minutes to 20 minutes… I actually thought they weren’t working and just left them on. About 20 minutes later they started heating up.

How's the maximum temperature? Again, haven't tested it yet, but my grips, even on low, have always gotten uncomfortably hot after 15-20 minutes.. I wonder if they tweaked it?

I think you must have some problem with them..I have had my Adversary heated grips on for the 1 year and over 19,000 miles I have owned my 24 and the grips have consistently heated up quickly, within a couple minutes it seems
