Never mine. Im almost positive that I need to reinstall the older update on the bike before I can continue. I just gotta figure out what the hell is tripping me up in that process. UGH.
Heres what worked for me;
download the 2273D software from the troubleshooting guide
Extract the folders/files onto a clean USB formatted exFat. Extract process is same as for the newer update.
Boot the bike into accessory mode (hold trip button)
insert the USB after the IFCU fully loads - It should prompt you to install 2237D. If not, try reversing the USB on the cable.
install the update, process is similar to the newer update. When done, both Skyline OS and Software OS versions should be 2237D.
Once confirmed you should be able to proceed with the newer update.
If you encounter errors turn off accessory mode (Hold trip button) and wait for the system to fully shut down (Say 10-30 seconds)
UPDATE. so I was having "corrupted" files for the AMP update. I removed the fuse, waited and finished a beer, re installed and it WORKED! this was with using a MAC for the USB stick. everything is updated now. WOOT
I had the same issue, just left it shut down for a few hours without a fuse pull and came back to it, worked like a champ.
Just a heads up for anyone who wants to avail themselves of the latest (January 2025) Skyline OS infotainment system update and doesn't wish to take out a mortgage or sell a kidney in order to pay for the dealership to do it for them.
I'm about as mechanically inclined as a jellyfish and I did it myself yesterday. Rest assured, it's easy as can be as long as you 1) follow the instructions to the letter and 2) take your time.
I strongly suggest watching this short video ahead of time.
The creator (a terrific YouTube Channel called "In The Friction Zone") walks you through the entire process, thus providing you an opportunity to see what's involved first rather than launching into it cold.
Good luck with it and keep the rubber side down.

This wasn't on the HD Troubleshooting Guide when I did mine but it's there now. I guess more riders than me had this problem. Old Software Files
I'm starting from scratch again today. Gonna download the 2237D update from last year...again.
Also, heres some food for thought. When I am formating my USB to exFAT. I have used the "Quick Format" option. Takes about 3 seconds to complete. Just now at work, I reformatted the drive with exFAT and UNCHECKED the Quick Format option. Took a really long itme to format. I have no idea the difference between the Quick version and the "normal" version of formatting. We shall see if that did any thing. You guys know the difference?
