It is fixed - went for a ride today and my headset died (forgot to charge) Ive got just one nag immediately after I turned it off and that was it for the remainder of the ride.
My update worked fine.
I believe the stock radio volume is noticeably louder, hard to tell in the garage. Ill ride tomorrow and see if it makes a difference.
Hi everyone I just updated the skyline os on my 24SG. My software was at 4125D so the HD website say just start with USB2. I did that and the first 4 updates went well, then came the amp update. BTW I did upgrade my sound system to stage 2 if that means anything. During the update a message popped up saying file is corrupt and I should re down load it and try again. I hit the OK on the screen and the status bar just stayed there for 30 min. I shut down the bike and tried again. This time it went directly to the amp update and did the same thing.
I formatted my thumb drive and down loaded the soft ware again. When the update started it went directly to the amp update and installed with no problems. At the end it said that the software is equal or newer than software on USB.
So I think everything
is updated but my soft ware number is still 4125D is this correct .... Thanks for your time swifty.....
I just went down and checked my amp software now shows 1340.... is this what you guys have???
Lowbar, I have the exact same issue. I have the exact same Syline OS Version ending in 2213D, and the exact same Software Version ending in 2237D.
I have followed the instruction to a T and Im getting the exact same Softward version is incompatible. Unknown. error message.
1. I started with USB2 as I saw the 2237D in the software version on the production information. Even thought I was a bit confused about the difference between Skyline OS Version, and Software Version. But I started with USB2. > ERROR
2. I thought well maybe I need to start with USB1. Did that. -> ERROR
3. Read way down near the bottom in the trouble shooting section where it talks about maybe the last update was incomplete. Like they did USB1 and NOT USB2 or something. So I tried to go back in time and do the old update first. -> ERROR.
4. I started all the way over again with USB2 on the newest update. -> ERROR.
Wasted a whole day! Im going to keep reading down this thread, but Im very curious if you got to the bottom of your issue????
Never mine. I’m almost positive that I need to reinstall the older update on the bike before I can continue. I just gotta figure out what the hell is tripping me up in that process. UGH.
