Default Biketronics Installed......Finally

Today I finally had the time to install my BT2180 & BT7.1's after receiving them a week ago. They sound awesome. In fact, now I want that new Kenwood HU that I had decided against. Once I heard the difference the speakers and amp made..........I gotta have more!!!!

Would putting 6.5's in the lower fairing be a good move?

Congrats. Yes put speakers in the lowers and the BT Titan II's are it. Your 2180 can push all 4 speakers. BT will send you a wiring harness when u get the Titan's.

Kenwood or Sony would be icing on the cake!

Thinking about the Kenwood KDC-X898.

I have the same sets of speakers mentioned above and like you, time is the part I am missing. Can't wait. Keep us posted.

kenwood 998 - see my signature. a TON of options (HPF/LPF filters with adjustable slopes; front and rear; 13 or so band EQ).
only thing it does NOT do, is USB search by artist/album/genre :-(
but reorganizing folders on your thumb drive fixes that.

~220 USD

I don't mean to hijack my own thread, but to get a new HU I've gotta sell my OEM unit. When doing the install I noticed a CB module attached to the top of the OEM HU. Does this make the HU fully capable of having CB radio or is there something else you need? Just thinking with CB the OEM HU might be worth more.

I did a little research on this to and found selling them separately brought a little more money. The motorcycle has all of the connections and wiring to run the CB through the head unit not sure of all the details but my ultra has a CB antenna and had the head unit and CD modules both that worked interactively. Hope this helps.
