That's exactly what I was looking for. Is the 300 worth it. But I rather do it once to many times I have done something then ended up costing more money. I wasn't sure in my applicatication the pros might be a little overkill. I could use the extra 300 on something else for the bike.
Gannicus - sorry to hijack the thread but still on point I hope
I have the 7.1s in my fairing (14SGS) and thinking about adding pods to the rear and going to a BT4180, do you think it would be worth it to go pro for the pods and then swap the 7.1s in the fairing for the pros and put the standards in the pods?

Are you purchasing Biketronics part number BT474 7.1 rear speaker kit? Or just the pods? I can tell you the kit is awesome! I run the 7.1 kit in my rear pods and they sound like 6x9's back there.

I was going to order the kit with the 4180 amp. Already have the 7.1s in the fairing. So you think stick with standard BT474 speaker kit? Or go with pro kit and swap speakers?

I'd stick with the standard kit. I think you'll be more than satisfied with the results. I had the 7.1's in the upper fairing and the BT474 Kit in the rear pods. Switched to the PROS in the fairing and honestly I couldn't tell a huge difference in sound. Now the Pros have a little more clarity and bass than the regular 7.1's. But going down the road at 70 mph you can't hear the difference. You can only hear a slight difference sitting still.
I have the 2015 sgs stock boom audio speakers in my fairings. Will upgrading to the pros be worth the difference?
Upgrading to almost anything will be an improvement. Just make sure you get the cycle sounds magicbox or go to a HD dealer who has the flash process figured out.
