Default PBR300 in the tourpack?

So now that I changed out the PBR for the B52 in front, I'd like to use it for the Polks I put in the rear pods. Seems the easiest way would be to mount it in the trunk, but I'm a little concerned about heat. Where does the group land on this.... OK? Someone will die?

I MAY be able to fit it in the batwing somewhere if I have to, but putting it in the rear sure seems like the wiring would be easier.

Thanks!

Not a problem. I had two in the trunk at one time. Ran flawlessly. There's a misconception out there that the X2's get hot. I've installed several of the X2's and I have yet to have one run hot. X4 Now that's a different story. A few years back the X4 did get hot. But Fosgate addressed the issue and they don't get hot anymore. The X2 is good to go in the trunk.

Mount it in the fairing, That way all you have to do is run speaker wires to the pack with quick connects if you remove it. You can fit 3 amps in the fairing.

This is where I have my second amp. Awesome mount, so much stronger than the fairing support that goes over to the speaker.

Nice mount, but not gonna fit with the 7.1s and their brackets. ('15 Limited Low)

These are 6.5" and there is still room for the 7.1
