Thanks Bert! Between your response and just reading another response from haze in another thread, I'm feeling pretty good about this decision. Bill at BT was awesome to deal with. I may just trade in my HATS 6.5s for some Titan 7.1s after hearing him talk about them so highly. Or I might keep the HATS and deep 6 the focal 165s.

How do you have the HATS mounted in the fairing pods?
Nope, At least I did that right from the start. I mounted them with the Biketronics Brackets.
Way to go. This gives you a lot of choices.
You may want to consider a pair of Arc Moto 602. I'm using them in the TP pods and they perform very well there. Gann said they do very well in the lowers also do to the adjustable tweeters.
Yes, Bill said that I can run the HATS and Focals in Parallel as I have them now.. However, I get your point. The RMS handling of the Focals is a tad less than the Hats at 80 watts.

If you haven't already, check out this thread on the 602's.

The Focals will that take that power with no issues at all.
What you should look at is the sensitivity rating. So if one speaker is 93db (the focal) and the another is 89 db (i think the motos) and you are sending them the same signal split in half the speaker with the higher sensitivity will get louder much faster leaving the other speaker wanting more juice to match the volume. So you want two speakers that are roughly the same sensitivity if you are running them in parallel. I think what you got now would work.....but I'd still put them Focal's in the fairing! Also have to take in consideration which speaker can play lower in freq while the other can't etc. So it's more than just RMS rating.
Now if you were running them off their own channels then yes a Focal + Arc combo would be great. Focal = awesome clarity Arcs = tons of bass. Great combo!

Guys, I can't thank you enough for your help and this lesson! I'm trying my best to learn as much as I can as I go, so that I can in-turn, be of help to someone else. So here's what I have... Hope this comes out aligned. What do you think after looking at the numbers based on the above?
