Default Upgrading from boom

Hey guys, just picked up a used 15 sgs that already had a boom stage 1, including cvo bag speaker lids with 5x7. Single boom amp in the fairing. I think the sound is decent but like most, want better. So do you guys think it's worth it to go to a BT setup 4180, LL, 7.1s pro or standard with brackets , 6x9s by BT or Arc Moto coming from boom. Already have rear fade, I assume I would need to get the amp flashed off on the head unit? Been doing a lot of research on here, learned a ton already. I know the difference would be huge coming from stock but how about the difference from a boom stage 1? Thanks in advance

You'll notice a huge difference from Boom Stage 1. I have a 2012 CVO SG. The first thing I did was rip out the boom in the fairing and lowers, as well as the stock head unit. Sold the HU and trashed the Boom. I can't speak to the BT's as I've never used them, but plenty of folks like them. I have Kicker's in the fairing and Kappa's in the lowers (because the kappa's in the fairing was too much for my ears, The high's are ridiculous). I have a SS 4 channel amp. With this system, I can hear clearly at 100MPH. It's more than I need, but sounds very good. You'll be glad you did it. How much you spend, is up to you.

Welcome to the forum. Not even close, night and day difference between boom (I or II) and biketronics. The 4180 with 7.1 up front and Motos in the rear and you'll be a happy camper.
