We suggest if you already laid out some $$ to put a fix in place, it's probably best to keep that solution and not revert anything. At that point if it's not broken, don't fix it.

I certainly do appreciate you're effort and honesty.

HK made a very nice piece of hardware. HD is destroying it with there greed based programing. BTW the GPS is iGo.

Chiming in from someone that's VERY familiar with the flash and had many many weeks of experimentation as well as full HD access when needed. Flashing was the most effective way to go before the levelers. Effectiveness waned after HD started software updates that began not only knocking out flashing effectiveness, but also disabling certain dealer options when flashing as well. As of now, software version 1.19.0 and the BT355 levelers is the best/easiest way to achieve proper sound.

If there's a better way, hell I'll try it.

You're certainly welcome!

In the beginning we thought this EQ thing wasn't going to be a big deal. Thanks to great relationships we've made with local Harley-Davidson technicians, we now have a better understanding.

We fully appreciate how frustrating this can be for anyone (including audio dealers) doing an audio upgrade. For this reason, we recently invested in our own diagnostic tool where we can flash bikes in our bay and test in real-time.

If we come across any additional info, we'll be sure to share that here.

Definitely worth a try, particularly with someone who is familiar with the LL and make a comparison.
