Arc amp hooked to mpk165 components. What's the best way to set up the amp? Full pass or high pass. I'm only using channels 1&2 as of now. I plan on putting lowers on down the road with 6.5s running to channels 3&4. What's the best way to set the 2 channel and 4 channel switch? About 80hz on the dial? As of now the gain is set right around the middle of the gain control. Is that a good place or should I adjust it up a little? Been reading a ton of threads over the last 6 months or so. Just trying to figure it all out but my head us overfilled with all the stuff I've read. I'm running 1.20 software with the LL on default settings. Thanks for any help. I appreciate it.

Hp 80 is just right. Leave switch in 4 channel for now. I don't like to give gain position settings without a meter, but if the LL are 2v like I remember then 1 o clock is about right but I would let your ears judge that. Make sure the front switches are in 4 ohm stereo.
Ok thank you. Will the hp take all the mids and bass out of the music?
No. Just whatever frequency you cut off. On 6.5's you really don't reproduce much below 80hz, so you are taking the low frequencies out that will muddy up the speakers sound. In the end you get a clearer and more efficient speaker, even with a passive network inline.
