Hey everyone. I bought one of these secondhand and was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks on installing this on my bike, I am running an 06 Low Rider, no fairing and V&H Big Shots if it matters. Any ideas welcome, thanks in advance!

I am pretty sure that you are not getting any responses because no one is familiar with one of these. You might try the BOSS audio website sometimes instructions are posted on them. I had to so search to see what it was myself but I did find it on Amazon. It looks like they come with speakers so all you would need is power and ground comnections to get it working.
I did look through the forum and found that a few people have installed this setup. But most of those posts were regarding comparison between one system or another. I took a leap of faith and posted hoping that maybe someone would have some feedback. When I receive them and install them, I will post some pics and info. I am more concerned about the amp and where to put it. I recently started looking for a headlight cowl/fairing which if i can find one reasonably priced and not too large that I can paint, I will install the amp in there.
So I installed the speaker and amp over the weekend which I figured would be the hardest part. The amp fits under the seat behind the battery adn all the wires from the speakers reach without issue. I will probably move the speakers from the top of the handlebars to below or on the risers if possible. Pictures to follow. I verified that it works which is great.
However, i have questions about wiring for power, the system will stay on all the time, i took the fuse out to prevent that. I have done some research and there are a few things I may try. I can use a relay, just have to figure out how to wire it and connect it, I bought one with a pre made harness. I could also add a rocker switch to power on and off when I want instead. Or I can do both.
Hi, what's your experience with these speakers? https://theguruchoice.com/speakers/b...ycle-speakers/ Here they are considered a good choice and there is also a set of 4 columns, I would like to install them on my bike for the season, did you repaint them in the color of the bike? how did you do it? but more interested in sound.
I moved away from the MC420b system, it served me well for about two years I think. At higher speeds the audio was a bit hard to hear, but it was pretty good. As a gift I received the MC720b system. The Speakers are much bigger in size which is a little inconvenient, but the sound is better. The issues I had with the previous system at high speeds is not as bad with this system. For the amount of money you are going to spend< you cant beat it. Install is pretty easy, the hardest part is routing wires and placing the amp.
Again, happy with the current system. Ease of use, volume & sound.
I also bought a Bluetooth controller that i mounted to the handlebars to play/pause, change tracks and adjust volume.
